The goal of the University of Central Oklahoma’s Hip Hop Social Justice & Well-Being Week is to provide a sense of belonging and empowerment for students, validate their lived experiences through shared vernacular and aesthetic communication, and expand the institutional worldview of hip hop’s role in combating social justice issues. Presenters include Bettina Love, Ahmad Washington, 9th Wonder, Stevie Johnson, and Ebony Smith.
